Warm Jackets are key for winter fun!

Hi there!

Just before Christmas I was sent this wonderful Holden jacket by Altitude Sports.  It was a size medium and fit just right.  With an unseasonably warm January and a trip to the coast, I had been waiting for the right time to test it out.

Here are some of the features I love:

  • Thumb holes so that the sleeves don't ride up.
  • Contrasting zipper for style (that can reverse up when you need a bit more mobility)
Great colour combo!
  • Removable snow skirt that zips right out. I found the fit to be a bit better with it removed.
  • Faux fur lined hood with enough length to keep your head covered.
  • Water resistant finish for damp snow (and the accidental hot chocolate spill)
  • WARM! It was actually a bit too warm until it was below -10 (but I am also quite accustomed to cold Canadian winters)
  • PLENTY of pockets (inner and outer)

Snow gaiter zips right out!
So many pockets!
This hood!!
I would say to size up in this brand if you are looking to add layers (and you probably are if you plan to do outdoor activities).  I found the sleeve length to be ideal and the hips to be just roomy enough in a size M.  note: I am usually a size small but this can vary quite a bit from brand to brand).

If you are looking for a warm, stylish winter coat for more casual adventures definitely check this one out!  When perusing Altitude Sports a bit more I came across this other Holden coat.  Doesn't it look perfect for a chilly fall/spring!

As always, it is a great opportunity to partner and try out products and lines that I haven't seen or heard of before.
