Hi, Welcome to Blissful Miles. I am Lindsey and I am so happy you are here!

I started this blog as a day-to-day recount of how I train/run, our new life as parents, and other little adventures along the way.

In September of 2012 I married my soul mate. within our first year together we bought our family home and found out we were expecting a baby.  In November of 2013 we welcomed our beautiful little man, Weston, into the world.



I love coffee, all things cinnamon, a good love story, traveling, dark chocolate and hearing about how other people see the world. My closet is full of shoes (50% running shoes), stretchy pants and dresses.  I start my mornings with a big bowl of oatmeal and my news feed which is a healthy mix of news, blogs, and celebrity gossip.

My nutrition.
I believe that adopting a compassionate, animal product free approach to eating was the best decision for me.  My aim, through this blog, is to share this approach to eating and healthy living with the masses.  Whether you are vegan, a meatless Monday aficionado, flexitarian, or a full-fledged carnivore, I hope you find some inspiration here.  I also believe that we are all on a continuum of healthy living and what works for me may not necessarily work for you.

My running
Although I have been running for almost 12 years, I didn't feel I could really call myself a runner until I had a few half marathons under my belt.  Along the way I have been lucky to lead a few clinics as a pace leader and also as an instructor. In 2013 I was asked to be an ambassador for lululemon which has opened the door to new opportunities. In 2014 I will be completing certification to become a running coach.  I can't wait to share what I learn here and eventually work one-on-one with people to achieve their running goals.
